The Story Behind the Clay

Mia, the founder of Chimpookie, grew up with art living quietly inside her — a love she carried through years of serious study, through the long, demanding path of becoming a doctor. There were no art classes, no room to wander into colour and form. Her family needed her to be focused, to be practical, to build a life on solid ground. And so she did. She became a doctor. But the love for art? It never left. It waited.

Then came Mr. Moe — her partner, her steadfast believer. A doctor too, who saw in Mia not just the person she had become, but the artist she had always been. He didn't just support her dream. He made space for it. He said: go.

And slowly, beautifully, the people who mattered most began to see it too. Mia's parents — who had once hoped she'd stay on the safe and certain path — watched their daughter come alive in clay. They began to believe. And with that belief, something shifted. Mia was finally free to live the dream she had carried for so long.

Chimpookie is that dream, made tangible. Made wearable. Made real.
